Will he find a new life or will he be able to set things right and return home? Review: In many aspects far superior to Rhode’s first book. This is coming age adventure swings with adventure. A few logic holes in the big scheme of things in world design and relationship of those that inhabit it. One can debate the weakness of its final act being a bit deus ex maguffinned. There could have been other outs, but they probably would lose the "good" tone and feeling. Still, it is a fantasy in its own world. The character’s likeable as mysteries reveal and compound themselves. Some scoobeydoing around the map. A bit long because of that.
