The story of the Brother’s Urzua and Mishra and their conflict which will consume the world and change MTG’s universe forever. Review: Jeff Grubb at his best. Guy seriously can WRITE. Master woven frame and plot movement. NOTHING is wasted. So many layers. Does not abuse myth but using the mortal in myth to its finest. That blurred definition of hero and villain in conflict, how wasteful is conflict, etc. Just great character writing and conflict. A great way to start the MTG series and a sad mirror to see the slop that is counted for writing now from the company. One can debate about the weaker, seemingly third act compared to some waste of the second act, but that is actually the nature of the conflict and makes it very acceptable. ...
