About – A man on a job runs discovers a secret in a church that will change his life forever. Review: Really short, lots of forced telling. That plot makes up the last 30 pages. Everything before is to build the character foot print. Writer jumps topics often with poor transitions leading to confusion. No natural action until close to 40 pages in. Author had an agenda for expressing a historic moment from a fictional lens. Really close drop ending on author’s promise over closer. The whole thing feels like a early draft shart out shoved through a press. The fuel for that rather small, but succeeds in a feel good Christmas package of the dawdling everyday human, the small things in the world that matter. ...
